Review in “Never for Nothing” a national Christian magazine/CCM Newsletter and Prayer Diary published in Hull. E-mail: geoff@geoffhowlett.co.uk

“How lovely it is to hear the warm and charming voice of Fiona, accompanied by the band, in fine form once more. Following a nasty bout of pneumonia, Fiona has recovered well to give her best on this new release. To me, the track listing sounds more like a live gig set. It begins with the bouncy “All That You Are” which is followed by the Beth Nielson Chapman/Eric Kaz song “All I Have Is All I Need”. The band seems to have looked at a few country influences this time as Leanne Womack’s wonderful “I Hope You Dance” is also included. Original songwriting continues to improve from the band and Fiona, along with Brian Adams (no not that Brian Adams) present the terrific “Resurrection Angel”. Likewise Graham Jackson’s “Love Flowed Over Me” has a wonderful quality, as the Lord is praised for all His goodness. The FSB continue to minister to the easy listening audiences up and down the country, but this new album does see them successfully stretch themselves both musically and lyrically”.

“The Fiona Simpson Band entertained an enthusiastic audience of well over 100 people at St.John’s last Saturday with a performance of contemporary Christian music. With an audience ranging from a few months to over 95years, this was certainly a concert for all the family. Planned as an evening when the Christian message could be spread to churchgoers and non-churchgoers alike, the enthusiasm of the Band and the reaction from the audience certainly confirmed this event as a great success. Several people have approached the Band with a view to booking them at other venues and they will certainly be back at St. Johns!”

“ A great night last Saturday, so many people were blessed ”

“ May I wish you continued success as you spread God’s message of love and peace through your excellent music ”

“ We were entertained by the fabulous sound of recording artists The Fiona Simpson Band. I can tell you friends this chick can sing and her simple message of God’s Love for us all is there to be heard ”

“ Fiona’s voice is very powerful and the introductions to songs made people feel very much at ease. There were a number of people there who don’t regularly go to church, and we trust that the Lord is gently speaking to them now as a result of hearing those songs and testimonies. It was also a significant movement in ecumenical relations. It is rare that Roman Catholics and Anglicans mix so freely and is another demonstration of how The Band’s ministry is building the church, and demonstrating unity in the body of Christ”

“ A fantastic concert, every one has expressed nothing but praise for the evening, whilst at the same time hearing the Gospel in music”

“A wonderful concert, the music and ministry were just wonderful and every one who came has been singing your praises”
